Anual Day

The Modern School, ECNCR celebrated its ‘Annual Day’ on November 25, 2017 with great elation and gusto.

The spectacular evening began with the inauguration of the science exhibition and laying of the foundation stone of the residential block, senior academic block and auditorium.

The programme commenced with the auspicious lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the distinguished assembly of guests.

The Principal, Ms. Abha Sadana welcomed the august gathering and presented the school report accentuating the progress of the school throughtout the year. Mr. Ashok Pratap Singh, President Board of Trustees, Modern School felicitated the young achievers of the session 2016-17 with prizes and certificates.

Mr. Ashok Pratap Singh also presented a token of appreciation to the team of National and State Sports Champions who had made the school proud with their achievements and released the new edition of the school magazine ‘Prayas’.  He spoke at length about the plethora of opportunities that Rajiv Gandhi Education City offers and talked about the incredible work and progress made by the institution in a span of four years.

Mr. Singh further outlined the vision of the school that aims at imbuing a strong value system in the young aspiring students. He also urged the parents to lay emphasis on inculcating the same.

It was followed by the cultural programme, ‘Swaranjali’, which recounted the tale of the advent of the seven ‘sur’, as each ‘sur’ exemplified its significance through a mesmerizing presentation that was an incredible visual treat.  T        he relevance, origin and existence of ‘Sur’ in Nature were highlighted. The perennial existence of Music and its spiritual essence that symbolizes ‘Harmony’ was truly exhibited in the scintillating performances. The grandeur of the Finale left the audience enthralled.

The vote of thanks to the revered assembly of guests was proposed by the Headmistress, Ms Rimpy Verma.

The annual exhibition that showcased the outstanding work of the students was appreciated by one and all.The audience comprising of the parents and guests was captivated by the enchanting performances of the students and the soulful symphony of the budding musicians.
