Tiny tots of Modern early years enjoyed the cleanliness activities that span throughout the week. The little ones made an imapct with the message that they spread regarding the importance of cleanliness.
“A healthy mind resides in a healthy body”
The cleanliness week began with the doctor’s visit where he spoke about the importance of personal hygiene and interacted with our little angels. Our kids maybe small but they definitely had some intelligent questions to ask!!
Filled with lots of information and knowledge the kids went home with their personal hygiene kit that they made in class in which they would keep their tooth brush, paste and comb.
“Clean communities, healthy citizens”
The KG classes lined up outside the school for the “Cleanliness Parade”! The children went around the neighbourhood and requested everyone to stop using plastic bags and instead presented them with the paper bags that they could use.
While our KG children were spreading awareness around the neighbourhood, the tiny ones of our school could be seen carrying a garbage bag and picking up all the waste materials that they could recycle while making sure that the surroundings remain clean.
“Water is life, and clean water means health”
“Say no to plastic” that’s the slogan our kids chanted all day. The paper bags that the KG kids made depicted how plastic is harming the marine life. On the other hand the nursery kids made a fish which requested everyone to save its home from plastic. And finally the day ended with the kids seeing a video that showed how plastic is affecting marine life.
