On Friday, 31st August the nursery students of both the Junior and senior wing of the school celebrated the festival of Janmashtami through a beautiful ballet – “Mere Kanha”
Ms. Abha Sadana, our school principal, welcomed all the parents of our little ones to the school by encouraging them to be active participants in their child’s growth and development.
All the little Gopi’s and Gopala’s of our school danced and sang as they enacted small incidents from Kanha’s life. These included the natkhat kanha enjoying butter with his friends, to kanha dancing with Radha and gopi’s and in the end Lord Krishna protector of good over evil, fighting and defeating Kansa.
The entire Nursery sang the bhajan “Achutam Keshavam”, a heart rending bhajan to praise Lord Krishna. They were joyfully joined in by their parents.
On the way out the children enjoyed swinging Kanha’s palna. while the parents were given a beautiful flute decorated by our little one’s as a gift.
