Visit to the Mughal Gardens
‘In every walk with nature, one receives far more than he seeks’.
The Modern School, ECNCR organised an educational trip to the Mughal Gardens on 14 and 15 February, 2017 for classes Nursery – P5.
The children beaming with excitement and hoping to meet the President, entered the heritage site. With the Rashtrapati Bhawan as the perfect backdrop, the children saw a variety of herbs and flowers like Aloe Vera, Peppermint, China Main, Ice Berg, Tulips, etc. They enjoyed watching the dancing fountain and sang along “Kadmo se mile Kadam” as the fountains made different formations. The bright sun didn’t deter their enthusiasm as they were in awe with the big banyan trees and bonsais.
Not only did the kids immensely enjoyed seeing the Mughal Gardens awash with spring blooms but , they also learned about their heritage and history.
