  • The Modern School ECNCR-Delhi was established with its first academic session commencing from year 2014-15. It is located in the middest of India’s biggest education hub at Rajiv Gandhi Education City, Distt. Sonepat, Haryana. The school is embellished with legacy of 100 years in education of Modern School, Barakhamba Road.

  • While imparting the best of the education coupled with multifaceted development of its students over the years, our mentor, Sh. Ashok Pratap Singh, the Ex-President of Board of Trustees of Modern School, Delhi, visualised that such legacy in education must be spread & made available to the students beyond the boundary of Delhi. The Modern School ECNCR-Delhi is a realization of his vision into reality by establishment of this institute with State of Art Architecture, equipped with latest technologies, having exuberant green environment, bright-airy classrooms, excellent indoor and outdoor sports facilities alongwith all other support systems & amenities in the campus. Boarding House residential facilities are created in the school campus as a new Home Away From Home for its resident scholars.

Our Vision

    While Providing Boarding House facility, we ensure that a student never feels emotionally or physically insecure. It is a ‘Home away from Home’ for its Resident Scholars. Our motto is that after school hours, all facilities must be available to our resident scholars, which any day scholar enjoys after reaching home, be it the safe environment, emotional support, latest amenities, health facilities, educational guidance or fresh & healthy food. This nurturing environment ensures that our resident scholars grow up to be independent, confident and self-disciplined individuals.

Residential Programme

    The Boarding facilities are designed for comfortable stay of its Resident Scholars. During weekdays, the Resident Scholars shall be busy with the school activities and in the weekends, they will enjoy the extracurricular activities and relaxed environment to take care of their childhood and teenage perspective. The Head-Residences and House Parents are always available for the timely care of the Resident scholars. Resident Scholars have the option to choose either of the 7 days or 5 days residential programs. Under 5-day residential programme, they can avail the Boarding House facility from Monday to Friday and on Friday evening they can go back home and come back to school on Monday morning. School shall provide the transport facility to pick and drop the students from fixed convenient locations.

Home Away From Home

Our Boarding House is established with State of the Art infrastructure. It can accommodate upto 200 students. Its residential scheme is divided into three categories i.e. 2 Bed, 4 Bed and 8 Bed dormitory, which shall be allocated to the students on the basis of the class in which the students are studying. The Boarding House is equipped with all facilities & amenities to take care of the conveniences of the resident scholars on one hand and with latest technologies for energy saving, control, supervision and security measures on the other hand.

The Boarding House is a part of the school campus which is spread over 11.25 acres. Its building is constructed with State of the Art Architecture with all comforts and services required for the resident scholars to take care of their educational as well as personal needs. Security

The Boarding House building and smart automated environment has been designed in a way that the children can enjoy a safe and secured life in the campus. The Boarding House premises have a central locking system which is under continuous computerised monitoring supervision. Entry in the premises as well as dormitories shall be done through digital smart cards only. Whole campus is under 24 hrs CCTV surveillance. Besides all these facilities /systems installed for taking care of the security of the children, they will be safe under the supervision of the vigil eye of the Head-Residences and House Parents with support of security guards. Separate entry and accommodation is provided for boys and girls without any chances of infiltration from boys’ campus to girls or vice versa. Girls’ campus will have female staff & lady security guards. Nonetheless the whole campus is secured by the eletric fencing.

Academics

One of the most important aspects of the Resident Scholars in the boarding house is their studies after regular school hours. The Boarding House timings are scheduled to focus on systematic and disciplined development of its Resident Scholars towards studies under the supervision of competent house teachers. The performance of Resident Scholars in their studies shall be duly monitored and weekly report shall be submitted to the parents. In case of specific request by the parents, facility of classes by expert subject teacher can also be provided to the needy students. To keep the children updated with the technology, laptop facility shall be available to them on weekends under the supervision of the Head-Residences. Study time after regular school hours is segmented in slots to prepare Resident Scholars for stress free self-disciplined studies.
