Christmas week celebration

“Peace on earth will come to stay, When we live Christmas every day.”

Christmas is the time to indulge in fun and frolic. The red and white balloons, the sparkling Christmas bells, the famous goody bag of the Santa Claus and the glimmering Christmas tree, all was in store for our little ones this festival times Soaking in the spirit of Christmas our little modernites of classes Nursery-P2 celebrated the festival with great zeal and  enthusiasm from December 19 to 23,2022.

The entire week was full of fun filled Christmas activities and positive vibrations of Christmas carols and warm wishes.

Day 1- Our young modernites embellished  their own Christmas trees lovingly with the decorative material brought from their homes. Christmas tree decoration activity helped the  young children to create a part of the magic that Christmas entails and develop fine-motor skills at the same time.

Day 2- Students of Nursery and KG shared their secret wish for Santa with the class teacher whereas students of classes P1-P2 became Santa for someone in need to spread joy and smiles on Christmas. The activity helped our students to learn to care and share.

Day 3- Our creative little hands indulged in a fun christmas craft activities as well wherein they created their own Christmas Tree, Santa Claus, Snowman and Joy Stick with their  class teachers. Students of classes Nursery and KG also did a christmas socks activity. They filled their old socks with chocolates, candies and lollipops and took them back home as a christmas gift for their parents on the special occasion.

Day 4- Our tiny tots did a  non fire cooking activity . They made nutella bread using different shapes of bread like heart, star, flower etc and decorated their nutella bread using gems and sprinklers . All of them relished eating their own nutella bread. This hands- on activity was an essential life skill taught to them over the week.

Day 5- Last but not the least, was a day filled with christmas carols, dance and music as our tiny tots celebrated Christmas in  a special assembly and enjoyed Christmas class party too . All of them were beautifully dressed in red attire along with santa caps  and they brought their favourite lunch for the celebrations as well . Christmas spirit truly came to life as Santa Claus entered the classrooms and the students’ faces were filled with unbridled delight as they received candies .

The week culminated with memories to cherish for life and the boundless joy of celebrating the festival, evident on the faces of all the children.
