Preserving Ecosystem with the Nest Man of India


‘Wildlife in the world can only be protected by the love of compassionate hearts in the world!’

Students of classes S1-S3 attended an invigorating session cum workshop on ‘Preserving our Ecosystem’ on August 31, 2022, in the school premises. The aim was to sensitize them towards the growing needs of our ecosystem thus urging the young minds to conserve the environment and make it a safe place for all creatures to survive and live.

Mr. Rakesh Khatri, known as the Nest Man of India, a naturalist and filmmaker who has spent three decades spreading awareness on building a sustainable future was the guest speaker of the day. He is passionate about saving birds, conserving water and understanding climate change. Mr. Khatri, a green activist who has built over 2.5 lakh nests to shelter birds made the students learn how to create nests for birds using various everyday use items and things. 
He motivated the students emphasizing on the need to save and protect our mother earth and its creatures. 
The Principal, Ms. Abha Sadana thanked him for sharing his valuable experience and knowledge with the students.
