On Wednesday, 9th October 2024, the Modern School Early Years was engulfed by vibrant colours and laughter with the celebration of the annual Vijay Deep Mela. This special event brought together the entire Modern family, creating aura brimming with joy, creativity and the warmth of togetherness.
The day offered a wide variety of engaging and enjoyable DIY activities for everyone present. The main highlights of the festivities included the wonderful experience of drawing water from a traditional well and a unique opportunity to feed a cow. These activities brought smiles and excitement and allowed children and families to connect with cultural traditions in a meaningful manner.
The creativity of our young students was on full display with utmost zeal. Beautiful exhibitions showcasing unique craftwork attracted everyone attending the event. Each room at Modern Early Years was transformed with thoughtful themes, immersing visitors in experiences like Ashok Vatika, Diwali celebrations and a vibrant Durga Pandal. To enrich such themes, the students presented lines that reflected the essence of each setting, adding depth and meaning to their artistic creations.
Along with a sense of community and joy, everyone joined in for a Dandiya dance which turned into a memorable highlight that filled everyone with the lively spirit of celebration. This heartfelt dance brought together students, teachers and families in sincere moments of shared happiness and unity.
