Parent and Child
Coming to school means being away from home and parents - a solace that young ones are not ready to distance from just yet. Modern Early Years aims to emulate a homely atmosphere and welcome kids without a tear in their eyes. We understand and thus aim to highlight, the importance of a positive parent-child relationship in nurturing all areas of child development. We want our students to experience true social and emotional growth through interaction with parents in classroom settings. So we have programs that encourage parents to participate actively in a few school activities.
- Story by Naani/Daadi: The bond of pure love reflects when we see grandparents tell stories to their grandkids. Every week, we have a storytelling session by grandmas for the grandkids to instill moral lessons in the format of storytelling.
- Mother & Child Day of fun at Modern: As mothers often tend to be overprotective of their toddlers, this is an activity, where we let them be a student with their little ones. We have activities that promote a stronger mother-child relationship through games, team spirit and overall having fun with your kid.
- Father & Child Day of fun at Modern: We lay equal emphasis on a father’s role in a child’s schooling and development. We dedicate a day towards strengthening the father-child bond through various activities.
