Tuesday, August 22, 2023 was marked with the celebrations of 'Black Colour Day' by the students of Pre Nursery and Nursery.
The students came attired in black coloured clothes to represent various objects, animals, birds etc. which are black in colour. They introduced themselves with alacrity. 'The Colour Strip activity' saw them excited and enthusiastic. All the students matched and placed their unique black coloured objects on the black strip, showcasing their recognition ability and identification of the colour black.
Focusing on the theme the teachers conducted an art and craft activity, where they taught the students how to make a crawling black spider. It was great to see the students participate joyously in the activity.
The reitration of the concept 'Black Colour' through engaging activities helped the students to identify the colour and correlate with its existence in the environment effortlesly.
