“May the truth always win and good triumph over evil”.

The students of Modern Early Years, Deepali celebrated Dussehra by showcasing ‘Ramleela’ on Friday, October, 13, 2023 in the school premises.

Mr. J.P. Jain, President, Deepali Society graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour. 

The celebrations also saw the distinguished presence of Ms. Meera Malhotra, Academic Coordinator Managed Modern Schools, Ms. Abha Sadana Former Principal, Ms. Swaraj Mehta, Former Academic Incharge, all the members of Deepali society and the parents of the school. 

The programme commenced with the Lamp Lighting ceremony where the tiny tots of the school sang the prayer ‘Om Bhoor Bhava Sawah’ as the guests lit the ceremonial lamp.

The instrumental extravaganza on ‘Ganesh Vandana’ presented by the little ones, enthralled and mesmerized everyone. The presentation culminated with a resounding applause. 

The Headmistress Ms. Rimpy Verma welcomed all the guests and highlighted the importance of celebrating festivals, thereby instilling values and the essence of Indian culture, traditions, history and mythology in students.

The cultural presentation of Ramleela brought the mythological Ramayana alive, as the audience witnessed the kids perform with zeal and enthusiasm. The powerful dialogues spoken with alacrity, the well-coordinated dances and melodious songs left everyone spell bound.

The celebrations ended with a special treat of hot and spicy food that added to the festive spirit.
