Independence Day Celebrations

The red-letter day in the history of India, August 15, 1947, when we attained our freedom, was celebrated with great merriment and grandeur at Modern Early Years on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. The event was a vibrant showcase of patriotism and cultural pride, as students and staff came together to honour this significant day.

The occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of Mr. Manoj Kumar Tripathi, Second in Command, CRPF, who served as the Chief Guest, and Mr. K.K. Aggarwal, a member of the Board of Trustees, who attended as the Guest of Honour. We were also privileged to have our Academic Director, Miss Meera Malhotra, whose presence added to the event's significance.

The celebrations began with the national anthem and the flag hoisting, setting a tone of unity and patriotism. This was followed by the sacred Saraswati Vandana and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, invoking blessings for wisdom and prosperity. The event then featured a captivating ballet performance titled ‘विकसित भारत’, presented by the students. The ballet beautifully depicted the journey of India's development, highlighting the nation’s strides towards progress and self-reliance. The students, with their graceful movements and heartfelt expressions, left the audience in awe.

The programme was a reflection of the spirit of independence and the collective hope for a bright and prosperous future. The dignitaries present lauded the efforts of the students and staff for their dedication and creativity in making the event a grand success.

Modern Early Years takes pride in nurturing the values of patriotism and cultural heritage in our students, and this celebration was a testament to our commitment to these ideals.
