Many eminent world leaders and personalities including Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King Jr., Dalai Lama, John Lennon and Albert Einstein considered Gandhi as their ideal. His efforts to liberate the society and its people was quite relevant and modern at that point of time in history and his dream of an India, free of casteism, religious based differences and gender inequalities paved the way for the modern India of the 21st century. This year, India will be celebrating the 151st birth anniversary of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. On this auspicious occasion our lil masters paid their respect by singing, “Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram….’ all through the week which aptly matched with the principles of our ‘Father of the Nation’. Activities like dance and art and craft were organised all through the week so that our kids could feel the essence of Gandhiji’s presence. They celebrated Gandhi Jayanti with lot of zeal and enthusiasm .The different activities left a very positive impact on the students.
