National Sports Day

Sports and games are an integral part of our life which can lead to a healthy and fit India. It helps youth to learn values like discipline, responsibility, self confidence, sacrifice and to remain fit. 

India celebrates National Sports Day on 29th August, on the birth anniversary of Hockey Player Major Dhayan Chand, the hockey player who won gold medals in Olympics for India in the years 1928, 1932 and 1936.

To mark the significance of National Sports Day, Modern Early Years virtually organized several activities like baloon fun and scarf activity etc. to inculcate the feeling of true sportsmanship among the children and enhance their physical and social skills. They meditated to keep themselves relaxed and concentrated and a 

PPT was also shown to make them aware about the various Olympic winners.
