The atmosphere at Modern Early Years was filled with excitement and joy as Pre-Nursery and Nursery students celebrated Orange Colour Week from September 23 to 27, 2024. The week offered a delightful blend of learning, creativity and fun, all centred around the vibrant colour orange.

Each day brought fresh and exciting activities for the little ones. On Monday, the children explored colour theory by mixing red and yellow paints to make orange, discovering the magic of colours in a hands-on way. Tuesday featured the Carrot Dig Activity, a sensory treat where the children dug out paper carrots from the sand, enhancing their focus and engaging their senses.

On Wednesday, the children took part in a collaborative craft project, creating a beautiful orange tree, which encouraged teamwork and creativity. Thursday was filled with energy as the children participated in a balloon sack race, improving their coordination and motor skills. The week wrapped up on Friday with the children dressed in vibrant shades of orange, celebrating the theme with enthusiasm and joy.

This engaging week not only deepened the children's understanding of the colour orange but also created lasting memories, cultivating a sense of togetherness and joy among our little ones.
