The colour ‘ Purple’ is often associated with nobility, wisdom and grandeur. In order to outline  its royalty, ‘Purple Day’  was celebrated at Modern Early Years on 24th May, 2023 . 
The tiny toddlers came to the school, beautifully attired in different shades of Purple. They also brought many purple coloured objects like toys, fruits, vegetables etc, to indulge in various purple colour activities planned for them throughout the day. They actively indulged in the colour recognition activity, by exhibiting the objects that were purple in colour. They also took part  in the sponge dabbing art activity related to the colour. Thereafter, they sang purple colour rhymes and songs  with their teachers with great enthusiasm. 
Painting and colouring activities  helped children to explore their creativity. Sorting activity helped them to identify and differentiate between various colours. 
The concept of purple colour was revised thoroughly during the day. 
and it turned out to be a remarkable day filled with fun and enthusiasm for the students.
