"Excursions are a learning tool to enhance the curriculum by allowing students to better grasp and retain concepts. "

Keeping this in mind the students of Modern Early Years Deepali got an opportunity to visit the Rail Museum on 23.9.22. It was a pleasant Friday morning and children were filled with anticipation.

The Rail Museum has a unique collection of over 100 Life size exhibits of train models. We also saw working models of landmark stations which was highlight of the excursion. Children were enthralled when they saw fast and slow moving miniature trains. During the visit teachers explained the benefits of the Rail in country, that it is the main form of transport that economically connects many remote areas of India with major towns.

Students were delighted with their ride on the joy train. They also got the chance to see specimens of signal system.

After coming back they prepared 3D model of train with the help of teachers. Needless to say but this was an invaluable educational experience.
