World Earth Day
On Monday, April 22, 2024, Modern Early Years celebrated World Earth Day with fervor. The day commenced with a special assembly led by Class Nursery, highlighting the significance of Earth Day.
Students from Pre-Nursery, Nursery, and KG classes engaged in various activities to foster environmental awareness and creativity. In Pre-Nursery, craft activities centered around painting Earth, while Nursery students explored tactile experiences through tissue paper pasting to depict the planet. Meanwhile, KG students demonstrated their creativity by making Earth models using paper mache.
In addition to these activities, students were educated about responsible waste management practices, such as segregating garbage into blue bins for plastic and green bins for organic waste. They were also entrusted with distributing pamphlets in their neighborhoods to raise awareness about Earth Day and the importance of environmental conservation.
These collective efforts aimed to instill a sense of responsibility and empowerment in the students, encouraging them to become stewards of the environment.
