Nursery-KG wing of The Modern School, ECNCR celebrated World Earth Day on April 22, 2019. The theme of the day was ‘Let's Learn About our Country on the Planet Earth and Make it Beautiful’

The students presented thought of the day, talent and talk of the day, related to sensitivity towards the environment. In the assembly, students were told about some significant contributions that they could make to support ‘Go Green’ drive. They were advised to adopt a tree and to encourage the same, students planted their own saplings in a coffee mug and took them home to nurture them.

They also indulged in a craft activity in which they colored a thermocol white ball representing Mother Earth, with blue and green color symbolic of land and water.

The tiny tots took a pledge to keep their environment clean and plant more trees.
