5 students of class S1 participated in a German workshop organised by Goethe Institut (New Delhi) on July 22 & 23, 2021. The topics of the workshop were Music, Digital Painting and Cooking. Aarya Chauhan & Vihaan Charnelia of class S1 attended the workshop on 'Music'. Bhavay Chitkara, Nandini Kumar & Anhad Batra of class S1 attended the workshop on 'Cooking'. The music workshop was led by Mr. Mathias Duennwald, where he gave valuable insights about German music and culture. The students sang songs, danced and also played 'spin the wheel' game, wherein some German words were written in the wheel related to music. Through this activity, thr students got a chance to introduce their favourite musician, instruments, band, singer and song etc.

The Cooking workshop was led by Ms. Jeanette from Germany. During the workshop, students dressed up as Master chefs, learned how to make the German dish- Apple Carrot Salad also known as Apfel Karottensalat. Students were not only familiarised with the vocabulary of some cookery and food items in German language but they also experienced food art as they learned how to make a crab from an apple. Hence, overall it was an enriching and intriguing experience for the students.
