39 students from The Modern School, ECNCR participated in the ANCQ Quiz on August 22, 2019. The ANCQ is a premium chemical education activity conducted by the Royal Australian Chemical, Institute Australia and has been in operation since 1982. The aim of the quiz is to enthuse the students to study chemistry and provide them a platform to test as well as enhance their skills. The quiz was held at two junior levels (class 7 and 8), (class 9 and 10) and two senior levels (class 11 and 12).

Result for the quiz was announced on January 11, 2020 and the following students performed remarkably as well as brought laurels to the school:

• 1) Dhruv Soni of class S3 A got high distinction (in the top 10% of Indian students)
• 2) Parth Gupta of class S4 A got distinction (in the next 15% of Indian students).
• 3) Parth Vaswani of class S2 and Ritesh Antil of class S5B got credit (in the next 15% of Indian).
