The Modern School, ECNCR celebrated its Annual Day with great enthusiasm and merriment on November 17, 2019, in the school premises. Mr. Amod Kant, Social development Expert (Child and women welfare), Member- co-ordinator of NITI-CSO standing Committee of NITI Aayog, General Secretary, Prayas JAC Society was the Chief Guest of the day. Mrs. Anuradha Singh, Senior Trustee, Board of Trustees, Modern School, Mrs. Mira Pradeep Singh, Treasurer, Board of Trustees, Modern School along with Mrs. Neelam Puri, Director Academics and the Directors and Principals of various prestigious institutions also graced the momentous occasion.

The spectacular extravaganza saluted the beginning of Centenary Celebrations of Modern School. The day was ushered in with an array of scintillating musical performances by the talented modernites.

The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp and invocation of Goddess Saraswati through chanting of ‘Saraswati Vandana’, followed by the warm welcome extended by the Principal, Ms. Abha Sadana who presented the Annual School Report along with senior students, Sauhard Sharma and Diya Jain, highlighting the accomplishments of the students in the past year.

The cultural presentation, Preetraag ‘Meera’ was an astounding visual treat that left the audience spellbound as the students performed impeccably and gracefully with magnificent expressions and synchronized movements.The ballet showcased the life of ‘Meera’, her devotion for Lord Krishna and her writings, through mesmerizing dance performances.

The exemplary achievements of students in both Scholastics and Co- scholastics areas were acknowledged in the Prize Distribution Ceremony.

The Chief Guest, Mr. Amod Kant, unveiled the school magazine ‘Prayas’. He applauded the efforts of the students and congratulated the achievers especially the state and national champions in different sports. The vote of thanks was proposed by the Headmistress, Ms. Rimpy Verma and the function concluded with the grand finale.
