Annual Day Celebrations
The Modern School, ECNCR celebrated its Annual Day with flamboyance and grandeur on December 05, 2023 in the school premises.
Revered Chief Guest of the day, Padamshri Ms. Pratibha Prahlad, an eminent Bhratnatyam Dancer, Guest of Honour, Mr. Chander Mohan, Chairperson, BORBHAG Foundations; Scientist G & Former Director Vigyan Prasar, Government of India, Mr. Ashok Pratap Singh, Mentor, Advisor & Former President Board of Trustees, Modern School, Ms. Ambika Pant, Honorary Secretary, Board of Trustees, Modern School, Barakhamba Road and distinguished trustees presided over the spectacular extravaganza.
Around 500 students participated fervently in the dazzling spectacle, a conglomeration of talent and imagination.
The day was ushered in with an array of scintillating musical performances by the talented modernites. The inauguration of Annual Day was marked by a magnificent and grand exhibition displaying the exceptional and creative work done by the students.
The event unfolded with the lighting of the lamp and chanting of ‘Saraswati Vandana’, followed by the warm welcome extended by the Principal, Mr. Rajiv K Shrivastava, who gave an insight into the accomplishments of the past year and a glimpse of the journey ahead.. Junior Head Girl, Aryahi Shrivastav and Senior Head Boy, Vinayak Parashar presented the Annual School Report highlighting the achievements of the students. The exemplary achievements of the students in Scholastics and Co- scholastics areas were also acknowledged in the Prize Distribution Ceremony during the event as the meritorious students were awarded with trophies, certificates and scholarships.
The cultural presentation ‘Bharat – A Dance Through Time’, a poignant journey of our rich cultural heritage and golden history highlighted the achievements of modern India by showcasing the indomitable story of bravery and courage of the citizens of India. In the last phase of the programme, the students presented the landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the Moon through a model, depicting the phenomenal journey of the scientists.
The parent and the guests alike were enthralled with the magnificent performances of the students.
