Archery, an ancient sport that combines skill, concentration, and discipline, took centre stage in the school during a special Archery Demonstration Camp held on April 21, 2025 organised the event in association with Sports Authority of India and Mr. Sanjay Pathak, an instrumental veteran of the Commonwealth Games. The event, conducted in the school auditorium and school ground, provided students with a unique opportunity to witness and engage with the art of archery.

The camp began in the auditorium with felicitation and an informative session led by professional archers and esteemed guests Mr. Ravi Shankar, an accomplished Olympian and Senior Archery Coach with over 25 years of experience, Mr. Ashim Kundu, a highly Archery Coach with over 30 years of coaching experience. Mr. Satyadev Prasad, a skilled Olympian, Chief Coach in SAI and Dhyan Chand awardee and Mr. Shivam Sharma, Regional Director, SAI, Northern Regional Centre, Sonipat. Students learned about the history of archery, its techniques, and the importance of posture and focus. A live demonstration of various archery styles and equipment fascinated the audience, highlighting the precision and control required in the sport.

Following this session, students moved to the school ground for a practical showcase. Expert archers performed live shooting demonstrations, hitting targets with remarkable accuracy. Nishthaan Saluja of class 6 C, an excellent archer from the school, aimed with precision at the target that left everyone spellbound. Later, some students had the opportunity to try their hand at archery under guided supervision, fostering enthusiasm for the sport and teaching valuable lessons in coordination and patience.

The event was met with great enthusiasm from students and teachers alike, inspiring a newfound interest in archery. It emphasized the importance of sports that require both physical and mental discipline while promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.

With this successful demonstration camp reinforced its commitment to providing diverse learning experiences beyond the classroom, encouraging students to explore new passions and develop life skills.
