The Modern School, ECNCR Delhi, conducted a special assembly on Sustainable Cities and Communities on July 30,2024. The idea of Sustainable Cities and Communities was established in 2015 as goal 11 of sustainable development. Goal 11 is about making cities and human developments inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable.

Himachal House was on duty and initiated the assembly with a prayer. It was then followed by news reading by Pranay Anup P3C. As this day empowers and acknowledges the responsibility to bring a change around the world, Aarav Bawa of S6 A shared his ideas during his talk by saying that cities represent the future of global living. The assembly was concluded by the National Anthem. This assembly inspired the students to take action and make a positive impact on their community and environment by reducing, reusing, recycling in their daily lives.
