Keeping with the tradition of celebrating all the festivals with fervour and gaiety and familiarising the students to their rich culture and heritage, a special assembly was conducted on Baisakhi by Himalaya House students on April 13, 2022 from classes P3-S4.

The students of classes  P3- S4 looked resplendent in colourful Punjabi attire and preformed Bhangra. Students were told about the fact that Baisakhi marked the foundation of Khalsa community of Sikhs and was celebrated as the harvest festival in Punjab and Haryana.

A PowerPoint Presentation highlighting the importance of harvest festival across the country and the various ways in which it is celebrated in different states were explained. The significance of the festival was brought out through the thought and talk of the day. The assembly culminated with a message of happiness for the people of all religions.
