The Modern School ECNCR organized a session on Career Counselling for the parents and students of classes X and XI on Saturday, December 08, 2018 in
the school campus. The school collaborated with the organization ‘Mindscan’ for the session. Representative of the organisation, Mr. Mandeep Singh Baccher conducted the session.

The main aim of the session was to help students choose a field that was in tune with their skills and their job expectations. Choosing a career that matches one's aptitude and personality itself translates into professional success and popularity. The session helped the students and parents to know the pros and cons of the different streams, courses and educational options and the career path they offered. The students could make an informed choice, and get a career assessment that would help avoid the risk of change in their career path, later in life. Mr.Singh emphasized on the need to understand and treat each child as an individual. He emphasized on the fact that in the present day and age, each passion could be turned to a profession with dedication and correct guidance.

The session ended with many students opting for Psychometric Test in order to take a decision regarding the choice of subjects to opt for in class XI and the career path to choose after class Xll. It was an informative and productive session that enabled the students and parents to make up their mind.
