A Character Parade of freedom fighters was organised in classes P3-P5 on August 13, 2020 in a live zoom session.The aim of the activity was to develop in children, a more sensitive and in depth understanding of all the characters they played.

The students participated in the activity with great fervour and enthusiasm and showcased their theatrical talent explicitly. They also portrayed the lives of various freedom fighters, who had somehow influenced them and made them appreciate their sacrifices, strength and determination to seek freedom for their nation. They were adjudicated on the basis of the props used, content and confidence. Dressed up as their favourite freedom fighters like Chandra Shekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh, Rani Laxmi Bai, Lala Rajpat Rai etc., they looked splendid and spoke eloquently and confidently, presenting the famous quotes of their favourite freedom fighters. Their passionate participation was appreciated and applauded.The activity instilled in them the feeling of patriotism and love for the country and the freedom fighters of India.
