Christmas
Students of The Modern School, ECNCR celebrated the spirit of Christmas with joy and merriment. The festival was celebrated for a week by the primary wing from December 17 to December 21, 2018, which encompassed many activities and ecstatic fun-filled moments. ‘The Ping Pong headbands’ witnessed the tiny tots making and adorning beautiful headbands, as endearing little buds, full of elation and grace.
The second day was full of thrill and excitement as the students listened to the story ‘Ginger Bread Man’and indulged in cutting the gingerbread man shapes out of their bread loaf and relishing them with chocolate. The sense of achievement on having made something they relished was great. Next was the ‘Reindeer Activity’ in Nursery and KG, wherein the teachers helped them in making cute little reindeers out of thermocol glasses.
The week of joy and happiness did not just end there. The kids enthusiastically decorated the school corridors and classrooms followed by Christmas tree decoration. The Christmas week culminated with the Christmas party, followed by the special assembly in the school that saw all the students celebrating Christmas and singing carols. The week primarily focused on inculcating values like the joy of giving, oneness and love for all.
