Christmas week Nur-P2
“Peace on earth will come to stay, When we live Christmas every day
Christmas is a festive season. The red and white balloons, the gleaming Christmas bells, the famous Santa Claus goody bag, and the gleaming Christmas tree were all in store for our little ones during this festive season. From December 18 to 22, 2023, our little modernites in classes Nursery-P2 celebrated Christmas with amazing zest and enthusiasm.
The entire week was packed with festive festivities and the good emotions of Christmas carols and kind wishes.
Day 1: Our young modernites passionately decorated their own Christmas trees with ornaments brought from their homes. The Christmas tree decoration project allowed the young children to be a part of the magic that Christmas encompasses while also developing fine-motor skills.
Day 2: children in Nursery and KG revealed their secret Santa desire with the class teacher, and children in P1-P2 acted as Santa for someone in need to spread joy and smiles on Christmas. The activity taught our pupils to be kind and sharing.
Day 3: Using ornaments, Christmas trees, and snowmen, our artistic tiny hands participated in enjoyable Christmas craft activities.
Day 4: Our little ones engaged in a non-fire cookery activity. They used marshmallows, fruits, cheese, and candy to make Grinch and Santa Fruit Sticks. They all enjoyed eating their own sticks. They learned a vital life skill this week through this practical exercise.
Day 5- Finally, our little tots celebrated Christmas with a special assembly and a Christmas class party. They were all magnificently dressed in red apparel with Santa hats and brought their favorite food for the celebrations. The Christmas spirit was certainly alive as Santa Claus attended the classrooms and the youngsters' faces were filled with uncontrolled excitement as they got candies.
The week ended with memories to treasure for a lifetime and the infinite excitement of enjoying the festival, which was seen on the faces of all the children.
