The students of Interact Club of The Modern School, ECNCR took part in District Interact Leadership Assembly (DILA) 2018 organised by Rotary International District 3011 on October 9, 2018. It was hosted at Rotary Public School , Gurugram.

The event was an eye opening experience for the young interactors who participated in various performances of different genres and exhibited their talent   and hard work.  A total of 64 schools from Delhi and NCR region participated in the event.

Each school displayed a poster of the work and contributions their club had made over the year for the society. This helped the interactors  not only to be at their creative best but also get ideas about the great work other clubs had done. It was also a great opportunity for the students to get to know the interactors of other schools across Delhi.

The chief guest of the event was the famous media person and radio jockey Yuvi, who inspired and entertained the students with his tongue in the cheek humour, driving home the point ‘Service above Self’ in a lucid manner.

A team of ten interactors participated in the event and performed a skit on the topic  â€˜Ill effects of Social Media’. They enumerated on the negative impact  the medium had on the youth of  the present era and how the society was drowning  in the social media quick sand.

The event was a great learning experience and a distinguished opportunity for the young interactors to learn and take on the role of leaders. Each one of them was enthused and motivated on witnessing and participating in the event.
