Board Members of the Interact Club of The Modern School ECNCR along with the Interact Advisor, Ms.Anita, attended the District Interact Recognition and Awards (DIRA) ceremony organised in The Sanskriti School on July 3, 2019.

DIRA ensures that all Interact clubs get the recognition they deserve, for their valuable contributions towards making the society a better place and working towards the advancement of ideas and community service.

There were around 60 schools that attended the event. Every school was awarded with Appreciation certificate for its noteworthy contributions.

The District Governor with other rotarians honoured the schools that had excelled in community service in their district and had exemplified 'Service Above Self'. The Modern School, ECNCR bagged the 'Elite Award' for its community project 'Support for Pulwama Attack Victims'.

It was a unique fund raising activity that was greatly appreciated and acknowledged on the platform. The award honoured the interactors who dedicated themselves to the organization's global mantra 'Service Above Self' and made service to mankind possible.

It was a day full of mutual appreciation, pride, awareness and acknowlgement for the noble work done by all .
