The celebrations of Diwali resonated with cheer and gaiety in the premises of The Modern School, ECNCR on October 17, 2017.

A special assembly was organised for the students of classes P1 – P5 to mark the auspicious occasion. The celebrations began with a melodious rendition ‘Jyot Khushi Ki Jalate Chalo’, where the choir sang in harmony to imbue out the feeling of festivity and togetherness, followed by awe-inspiring dances that left everyone spell bound. It was a proud moment to see the little modernites take a pledge in unison to support and celebrate cracker free Diwali.

A few moments of merriment and joyous celebration were also share with the parents of Class P2 D, who had come to witness their ward’s class presentation on the topic ‘Deepawali’.

The Principal Ms.Abha Sadana and Headmistress Ms. Rimpy Verma concluded the assembly with the message to celebrate clean, peaceful and bright Diwali. The traditionally embellished classrooms and corridors were a treat to everyone’s eyes.
