The Diwali celebration at The Modern School, ECNCR was a vibrant and meaningful event that truly reflected the spirit of the festival. The morning assembly began with a soulful prayer, followed by a graceful Ganesh Vandana dance performance by Ziva Mathur (P4A), setting the tone for a day filled with joy, light, and values.

Shourya (P3A) shared an inspiring thought on kindness and compassion, while Riaan Aliwadi (P5D) spoke about the significance of Diwali, emphasizing responsibility and sustainability. The Kindergarten students presented a delightful skit encouraging eco-friendly celebrations, and Hashanah Sehrawat (P4A) recited a cheerful poem capturing the essence of the festival. Energetic dance performances by students from P3 to P5 and Shiven Bhatnagar (S6) added colour and festivity to the celebration.

The event also featured a prize distribution ceremony, recognizing students for their achievements, including SOF winners from P2 to S4 who were lauded for their excellent performance.

Students beautifully summed up the spirit of the day: “Diwali is not just about lights and sweets; it’s about spreading joy, kindness, and responsibility. Let’s celebrate with care, love, and purpose, making our festival truly special and meaningful.”

The celebration concluded with the National Anthem, filling every heart with pride and unity.
