“Honesty is the first chapter of the book of Wisdom.” Shiwalik House conducted a special assembly on September 30, 2019 where in students from classes S1-S7 exhibited the importance of truth and honesty through their mesmerizing performances. The assembly was dedicated to Father of Nation, Mahatma Gandhi and also marked the celebration of Dusherra festival.

A motivating thought and news of the day were followed by a soulful musical rendition of ‘Vaishnav Jan ko’ by Pulkit Verma of class S5that left everyone spellbound. Suvanshi Bhatia of class S6 presented an alluring performance depicting the journey of Lord Rama and Ravana through a poem. Anisha and Devanshi of classes S7 andS5 respectively captured the interest of the audience with their informative PPT regarding less known facts about Mahatma Gandhi. The performances were followed by a short quiz conducted by Mr. Suraj, History teacher on Gandhi ji.

The Principal, Ms. Abha Sadana urged the students to learn and get inspired by the life of Mahatma Gandhi following the path of honesty.
