A special assembly was held online on April 13, 2020 by the students of Vindhyachal house of classes P3- P5 of The Modern School, ECNCR to celebrate Earth and Environment Day.It highlighted the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment on earth and conserving its resources. Keeping this in mind, 'Thought of the Day' was presented by Gyan of Class P3A followed by news read out by Hiranya of Class P5A. Tia of Class P4A in her talk laid emphasis on the fact that Mother Earth is the culmination of multiple and diverse energies, which is brought together to create a rich aesthetic experience with a message of harmony and co-existence.

The talent was exhibited by Barminder of Class P4A.The assembly ended with an eye opening message for all of us to understand and to act upon the fact that conservation of our planet and its environment is essential for all living creatures
