Earth Day Assembly

“The earth does not belong to us. We belong to the earth." 
To create awareness about conservation of environment, The Modern School, ECNCR, organised Earth Day assembly on April 18 ,2024 in the school premises. The assembly commenced with a soulful prayer, creating a serene and tranquil atmosphere. Prisha Singh from P4 presented a thoughtful reflection on the significance of Earth Day. She highlighted the interconnectedness of all living beings and stressed upon the importance of preserving our planet for future generations. Bissman from S4A delivered the latest news. Shiven from S5 delivered an insightful talk on Earth Day, emphasizing the importance of environmental conservation and sustainable practices. He shared the impact of human activities on the planet and encouraged students to take responsibility for their actions. He also shared practical tips on how students can contribute to a greener planet, such as reducing waste, conserving energy, and supporting eco-friendly initiatives. Tejas Mishra from P5 presented a beautifully crafted poem celebrating the wonders of nature and the importance of environmental stewardship. His poetic verses eloquently expressed the beauty of the Earth and the urgent need to protect it from harm. Anuska mesmerized everyone with her musical talent with a heartfelt song dedicated to Mother Earth. Her soulful performance captivated the audience and conveyed a powerful message about the beauty and fragility of our planet. Anuska’s talent song served as a moving tribute to Earth Day and encouraged everyone to appreciate and cherish the natural world. The Earth Day assembly was a meaningful and inspiring event, highlighting the importance of environmental awareness and encouraging students to take action to protect our planet.
