The Social science department of the school conducted a mock earthquake drill on February 10, 2023. The mock drill was planned to check the understanding of disaster management skills of the students.

All the students safely rushed to the main ground as soon as the emergency hooter rang and the school building was evacuated within 4 minutes.

The students were briefed about the recent rounds of earthquakes in Turkey. They were also taught about the precautionary measures that should be taken in case of earthquakes by
showing and elaborating a Powerpoint presentation on disaster management by Social science
teachers.
