Farm visits are a fun learning experience. Children become aware of different animals around us and also learn more about where our food comes from through a visit to a farm . An educational excursion to Indigo Farms was organised for the students of classes Nursery-P2 on March 23,2023.

The students were educated about the cultivation process, right from sowing seeds, to planting, watering and harvesting. They were explained how the paddy nurseries are planted,  weeds are removed in the fields and harvested through mechanised harvesters currently as well as  the olden days of manual harvesting. Spending a day with animals can be a therapeutic experience, one that relaxes your mind and makes you feel one with nature, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. All the children enjoyed milking cows. petting and feeding
animals like rabbits, cows, pigeons and ducks.

The students enjoyed the natural landscape of the countryside  and observed the fields of different fruits, vegetables and flowers during the excursion.
