The Modern School, ECNCR organized an educational excursion to a Textile industry in Kundli, NCR on August 18, 2018 for the students of classes P4-P5.There was a lot of excitement in the air from the time the students came to know about the visit. The visit was planned for the students to gain practical knowledge of the production process of a textile industry. They understood and saw the manufacturing process in the plant involved Spinning, Knitting, Finishing and Packing were processes exhibited to the students. They were explained the technical process involved in spinning of cotton balls .The spinning process was followed by knitting process in which students saw computerized German machines involved in making fabrics. Then, the students visited Finishing department where fabric was washed and given special treatment to make it shine and look bright. Last but not the least they visited the Packing department where the fabric was packed to export. It was an insightful experience for the students that gave them in-depth understanding of the manufacturing process followed in Textile industries.
