Educational excursion to The Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya
An educational excursion to The Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya was organized for the students of class S3 on April 27, 2024 with the aim of providing students with an immersive learning experience about the rich political and historical heritage of our nation. The excursion was meticulously planned to align with the academic curriculum and enhance the students' understanding of Indian history and socio-cultural dynamics. Students were taken on a guided tour of the museum, where they learned about significant events, personalities, and cultural milestones that have shaped India's history. Students were awestruck to see the virtual representation of India’s constitution in almost all the languages of their country. The students got the opportunity to experience India’s journey as an independent and democratic nation. The Sangrahalaya is a tribute to every Prime Minister of India since Independence, and a narrative record of how each one has contributed to the development of our nation over the last 75 years. It is a history of collective effort, and powerful evidence of the creative success of India’s democracy. Furthermore, inspiring students to explore history beyond textbooks and encouraged them to become active participants in preserving and promoting India's rich cultural legacy.
The educational excursion to Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya was a rewarding and elevating experience for all the students, as it served a valuable complement to classroom learning, offering students a firsthand encounter with experiential learning and fostering a deeper appreciation for the invaluable contribution of all our national leaders.
