The school organised an educational excursion to Old Age Home for the students of class S2 on April 29, 2023 as a part of the initiative for community service.
They were greeted by a representative of the Old Age Home who gave a brief description of the home and those residing there. All students got the opportunity to meet and converse  with the residents of the home who hailed from different parts of India and were from diverse backgrounds. Interacting with them made the students know about their past, the hardships they were enduring in life and their experiences. The students were sensitised towards the needs of the elderly. They also donated packed snacks, indoor games, and gifted hand-made cards to the elderly joining them in fun activities like singing songs and played antakshari. The elderly blessed the students and expressed their gratitude for paying them a visit.
