Students of classes S6 and S7 of The Modern School, ECNCR attended a workshop conducted by Amity University, Gurugram on November 26, 2020.

The workshop was hosted by Arvind Chhabra, Ph.D., FRSM(UK). Professor and Director, Amity Stem Cell Institute (ASCI). He explained in detail about stem cell technology and stem cell-based therapeutics. Through a PowerPoint Presentation, he explained in detail the significance of Genome reorganization during the differentiation process, Epigenetics: levels of organization of DNA in chromosomes and nucleus, Hematopoiesis in humans, Major advances in PSC-based regenerative medicine field, Donor – specific functional immune cells generation from stem cells, Evolution of antibody technologies, and Development of better plant varieties.

He also discussed at length about the MMSCT career opportunities. The workshop was informative and enriching.
