10 students from the school participated in an Inter School Painting competition and Art Exhibition organized by the Hindustan Times at Kiran Nadar Museum of Art, DLF South Court Mall, Saket on May 11,2022.

35 schools competed under the following categories wherein topics were given on the spot:
Junior: classes 4 to 6, ‘My favourite cartoon or hobby’
Middle: classes 7 to 9 ‘Mother Earth or Conservation’
Senior: classes 10 to 12 ‘India - My Country’
Hridya Arora of class S1B showcased exemplary skills and made the school proud by securing first position in the junior category. 
In the Art Exhibition, students observed the works of renowned artists, Mr  K Ramanujam and Mr. Somnath Hore.

The aim of the visit was to make the budding artists understand the ideology of an artwork, use of various colour mediums in a painting and colour contrasts.  They were also made aware of the concepts used to showcase the art works.  Visits to galleries and exhibitions enrich students’ knowledge and give them a glimpse of the professional world of art.

It was an enriching experience for the budding artists.
