An Inter-School Taekwondo Tournament was hosted by the school on August 23, 2022. About 200 students from sixteen different schools across Delhi NCR participated in this tournament under various categories. All the officials and dignitaries who graced the occasion were welcomed warmly.
The tournament commenced with Grass Root under the 6 category followed by a series of different kinds of events for under 8 categories, 8-10 yrs, 10-12 yrs, and 12-14 yrs category respectively.
The first position trophy was bagged by The Modern School, ECNCR, the second position trophy was won by Palms Academy and the third position trophy was bagged by Mother's Pride, Panipat.
The Modern School, ECNCR won the overall championship trophy. Around 150 medals were won by participants in different categories.
The event culminated with a valedictory ceremony in which all the winners along with all the participants were felicitated with trophies, medals, and certificates. The Headmistress, Ms. Rimpy Verma congratulated all the winners and their coaches appreciating the hard work and talent of the children who, at this young age showcased such a great amount of discipline and skill.
