The Interact Club of the school organised a workshop on ‘Good Touch and Bad Touch’ on July 4, 2022 for classes P3-P5.

All students actively participated in the engaging workshop where they were taught about their private zones by the school counsellor ,  Ms. Anita. With the help of videos, she explained the students how to differentiate and identify ‘Bad Touch’and ‘Good Touch’. Today it is important for every child to know that their body belongs to them and they have a right to protect it. With this in mind the students were made to understand who safe adults are and how to clearly communicate with parents about any bad experience.

The workshop also highlighted how to handle a bad touch by shouting, running away from the person and telling a safe adult about the same. They were also encouraged to discuss about it with their parents. With this session, the school aimed at helping the students to recognise ‘Good Touch and Bad Touch’ from a very early age.
