The pre primary department of The Modern School, ECNCR conducted a special assembly to celebrate Grand Parents Day on December 11, 2018. All the grand parents of Nursery and KG were invited to spend some time with the little ones in the school and enjoy games and activities with them.

Students of class Nursery presented a rhyme followed by class KG ,who performed a skit showcasing the importance of grand parents in their life. The heartwarming response of the grandparents to the performances, was warmly cherished by the students.

The grandparents were also mighty thrilled to participate in the games planned for them like ‘Feeding Frenzy’ in which the grand mothers were blind folded and had to feed the grand fathers with watermelons. They were also found tapping their feet enthusiastically on the tunes of the old melodies in the dance game .

The day that enveloped laughter, fun and frolic culminated with a takeaway activity , in which they indulged with their kids to make paper craft .They carried them back home as the momentos of the special day ,spent dancing, humming and merry making.
