The students of Himachal House from classes P3- P5 celebrated Storytelling on Independence on August 6, 2021 to commemorate the heroes who laid their lives for India's pride and freedom.

The real meaning of independence is not just to be free but to exercise one’s power of liberty, unity and integrity in the true sense. It is the ethical behavior of a person that makes one courageous and fearless. Students presented beautiful poems on Independence Day and melodious renditions through the guitar. They also enlightened everyone with the literal essence of the 24 spokes of the Indian flag. A PowerPoint presentation was shown that showcased the saga of India winning its freedom from the British rule.The students learned that if they are united then no one can suppress their self-confidence and courage.
