Himachal House of The Modern School, ECNCR celebrated its house function with elation and enthusiasm on May 11, 2019. The show commenced with the lamp lighting followed by an invocation seeking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati by the Himachal House choir group. The Principal, Ms. Abha Sadana welcomed the august audience of proud parents. The house report was read highlighting the achievements of the house members in the session 2018-19.

Solo performances of the members of the house displaying their talent in classical dance, singing, playing various musical instruments like sitar, guitar and casio kept the audience spellbound.

The main highlight of the house function, the play titled ‘The Sound of Music’ depicted the fact that music brings people together and spread happiness. The play also reiterated how one must be courageous to follow one's dreams. The confidence and ease with which the students delivered their dialogues won the hearts of all. Vote of thanks was proposed by the House mistress, Ms. Akansha Rana.

The event concluded with the finale wherein all the participants of Himachal House came on stage to the roaring applause of the audience.
