Himalaya House Assembly on Time Management and Basant Panchmi
'Time is free, but it is priceless! You can't own it, but you can use it'
Time plays a crucial role in our lives. If we understand the value of time, it can help us organize ourselves to make the most of the opportunities we have. With these thoughts, the students of the Himalaya house conducted a virtual assembly on February 12, 2021.
The assembly commenced with a harmonic rendition of the Gayatri Mantra.
The thought for the day was inspiring as it motivated the students to manage their time more efficiently. Students were urged not to waste time in idleness, rather to work hard in order to achieve success.
The auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami, a festival that marks the advent of the spring season was also celebrated and goddess Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge and wisdom was worshipped. The celebration commenced with Saraswati Vandana for seeking the blessings of the goddess followed by a soulful rendition of 'hey sharde maa..hey sharde maa' on the piano.
Students understood the significance of the festival and celebrated it with exuberance. Such celebrations enhance students' knowledge about their tradition and culture and strengthen the same.
